How much does it cost
The fee is £30 per person. That’s it, no hidden add-ons from the UK government side. Kids need their own ETA too, so if you’re traveling with family, budget for each person separately, infants included.

How long does approval take
Most people hear back within a few hours. The UK government gives itself up to three working days to review applications, so don’t wait until the night before your flight. A safe rule is to apply at least a week before you travel, two weeks if you can, just in case your application needs extra review.
How long is the ETA valid for
Once approved, your ETA stays valid for two years, or until your passport expires, whichever happens first. During that time, you can enter the UK as many times as you want.
